Shanturia Dance Theatre offer dance workshops as Corporate Bookings. The ideal team-building or group bonding activity - have fun, learn new skills and have an unforgettable experience at work. Corporate Dance workshops are available in African-Caribbean Dance (with live drumming),Street Dance, Ballet, Jazz or Contemporary.
Our Dance Workshops can be held at your work premises, if you are able to provide a large hall, studio or conference room for a workshop session with up to 20 people. For larger groups, or companies without suitable facilities, we can recommend professional dance studios that we can use as our venue. There will be an additional fee of approx. £10-£20 per hour for venue hire.
The photo shows an African-Caribbean workshop session in full swing. The tutor Malachi, teaches traditional techniques including undulation and pulsation, to the accompaniment of live music from African drummer Zozo. Everyone leaves feeling rather hot and sweaty, but with a smile on their face!
Suitable for all levels of ability, including those with no previous dance experience.
